Croeso/Welcome to Cilan Riding Centre.

We are a long established riding centre, all our riding is on the beautiful Cilan Headland, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and of Special Scientific Interest. The headland is situated 3 miles from Abersoch village centre, on the Lleyn Peninsula, in Gwynedd,
North Wales. We do not ride on the roads, the riding is ideally suited for experienced and novice riders as well as children. All rides are escorted to ensure your enjoyment of the magnificent panoramic views of Hell's Mouth Bay (Porth Neigwl), Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli, Isle of the Saints), Snowdonia, and Cardigan Bay, together with an opportunity to notice some of the rare flora and fauna.
The centre is open during the main summer holiday season.

STAFF VACANCIES FOR COMPETENT EXPERIENCED RIDERS
TO WORK DURING THE SUMMER SEASON.

Emlyn & Hilda Williams will have vacancies for competent experienced staff to work at the riding centre, during the summer season. (Late June, July and August) If you are a competent, experienced rider, aged between 16 and 21 years, enjoy working with horses and people, and would like to join us at: Cilan Riding Centre, Cilan, Abersoch, North Wales LL53 7DD. for June, July and August please telephone 01758 713276. Children are welcome, minimum age to ride 4 years. If you would like to combine your riding with a holiday in the area, why not stay in one of our comfortable holiday properties. If some of your party are not horse riders, there are plenty of other activities in Abersoch. WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU/WEAR. Riding hats are provided at no extra charge. Bring warm and waterproof clothing according to the weather. Wear riding boots, wellingtons or shoes with a low heel that cannot slip through the stirrup. Gloves are always useful. People of all ages and experience find our rides enjoyable. The pace of the ride is dictated by the ability of the rider, the nature of the terrain, and at the descretion of the trek leader. Horse riding is an activity sport and riders must be aware accidents can happen. WE MUST BE INFORMED OF ANY CONDITION, MEDICAL,OR OTHERWISE, THAT MAY AFFECT YOUR ABILITY TO RIDE SAFELY. Children welcome, minimum age to ride 4 years. Maximum weight to ride approx. 14 stones. Groups are welcome, but booking in advance is adviseable. Hourly rides Morning. 10a.m. and 11a.m. Afternoon. 2p.m. - 3p.m - 4p.m. ~~Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your appointed time of riding, to allow time for registration.~~ SORRY THE RIDING CENTER IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED
